hello, today I bring you this easy pattern accompanied with a video tutorial, to crochet basic heads for designing amigurumis, it comes in 3 different sizes so you can choose from small, medium or even crochet bigger sizes either fits your needs. I already have the small head pattern, but some of you are been asking me for different sizes, so here you have it, enjoy and happy Crocheting!

BASICS HEADS for AMIGURUMIS

– 3 Sizes

– Eng

⚠️For this tutorial you will need to know some of the basic crochet stitches:

• Magic Ring = mg

• Chain = ch

• Slip Stitch= slst/slt

• Single Crochet = sc

• Half Double Crochet = hdc

• Double Crochet = dc

• Triple Double Crochet= tdc

• Increase = inc

• Decrease = dec

• Back loop Only= BLO

• Front loop Only = FLO

• Puff stitch = puff

3 SIZES:

• 5.5cm, 6.5cm, 7.5cm approx

MATERIALS:

• Acrylic Yarn: #4mm color peach/skin

• Crochet Hook # 2.75 mm

• Scissors

• Stitch Markers

• Stuffing

• *Optional: Safety eyes #10mm(S), #12mm(M), and #14mm(L)

Small Head:

1.- 8sc on mg

2.- 8inc=16sc

3.-(1sc, 1inc)x8 =24sc

4.- (2sc, 1inc)x8= 32sc

5-14.- 32sc around (for 10 rounds)

15.- (2sc, 1dec)x8 = 24sc

16.- 12dec =12sc

Stuff

17.- 12sc on BLO (back loop only)

18-21.- 12sc for 4 rounds,

1slst and Fasten off.

(neck part, insert inside the head)

Medium Head:

1.- 8sc on mg

2.- 8inc=16sc

3.-(1sc, 1inc)x8 =24sc

4.- (2sc, 1inc)x8= 32sc

5.- (3sc, 1inc)x8 = 40 sc

6-17.- 40 sc (12 rnds)

18.-(3sc, 1dec)x8 = 32 sc

19.-(2sc, 1dec)x8 = 24sc

20.- 12dec =12sc

Stuff

21.- 12sc on BLO (back loop only)

22-25.- 12sc for 4 rounds,

1slst and Fasten off.

Large Head:

1.- 8sc on mg

2.- 8inc=16sc

5.- (3sc, 1inc)x8 = 40 sc

7-20.- 48 sc (14 rounds)

21.- (4sc, 1dec)x8 = 40 sc

22.- (3sc, 1dec)x8 = 32 sc

23.- (2sc, 1dec)x8 = 24sc

24.- 12dec =12sc

25.- 12sc on BLO (back loop only)

26-29.- 12sc for 4 rounds,

1slst and Fasten off.
